Impronta Casa Editora is a publisher founded in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2014. Typographical books are made on their machines, with movable type and linotype. Casa Impronta, in addition to housing the publishing house and being a museum, offers design and printing services, teaches typographic and graphic art workshops, welcomes artists to work on their own projects and has a bookstore, an art gallery and a cafe.
Alexia Halteman and Carlos Armenta are editors and booksellers at Impronta Casa Editora. They have previously participated in publishing projects such as La Cigarra, El Quinqué Cooperativa Editorial. Carlos is president of the Committee of Independent Publishers of CANIEM.
