Tereza Říčanová comes from Prague, but has lived on a farm in Mezná, in the Vysočina region, for more than twenty years. He studied illustration and graphics at the Prague Academy of Arts Architecture and Design in the studio of Jiří Šalamoun. He completed his doctorate at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in the study of illustration and graphics. Tereza's artistic work includes a wide range of artistic areas. One of them is the creation of children's books, which he writes and illustrates. He also transfers energetic theatricality when lecturing in art workshops. In addition to children's book illustrations, he has long devoted himself to painting, focused on two thematic areas: plants and dreams. In the past, he received the Most Beautiful Book in the Czech Republic award or the Golden Ribbon. His illustrated album "Noah's Ark" was nominated for a Magnesia Litera award.
