Studio Schmal are Johanna and Cristóbal Schmal, a creative duo working in areas such as illustration, textile art, painting and drawing. Their sources of inspiration are found in nature and its rhythms, in crafts, popular art, traditional trades and the link with the territory. They are passionate about children's spirit, people, their origins, the power of community and cultural exchange. It is for this reason that they have been organizing creative courses and retreats since 2017, also collaborating with other artists. Its vision is to celebrate and promote creativity as a creative energy that connects not only with ourselves but also with others and with our planet.
