Hi, I’m Bea de Rivera Marinel·lo, an illustrator born and based in Barcelona. I work mainly with analog techniques such as painting and collage, as I’m drawn to the direct contact with materials and the expressive value they bring to the creative process. While my foundation is in analog methods, I also incorporate digital processes to assist in refining and enhancing my work. I enjoy working intuitively, trusting the process, and embracing mistakes as a natural part of learning and experimentation.

I’m interested in creating images that tell stories and invite the viewer to dive into a personal, imaginative universe.

I have illustrated books, press articles, posters, and book covers. I’m also the author of several children’s craft books, a field I’ve been passionate about since childhood, which allows me to combine illustration, play, and creativity using everyday and recycled materials.
