The residency began with a journey. We met in Bilbao, where we got to know the workshops. After a very strange taxi ride, we missed the bus to Vitoria. Fortunately, there were other buses. In the evening in Vitoria, we had a presentation, and after that, I tried those things for the first time in my life, what are they called, mushroom sticks. The next day, we were already in San Sebastian, enjoying Basque cakes by the sea. We almost missed the bus, but by evening we made it to Angoulême.
In Angoulême, we were met by the director of the Pili residence, who took us to the workshops. We had to move some furniture to make the studio livable, but in the end we succeeded. Work began. And on the weekend, we went to the market to eat oysters, special de claire—I've never eaten anything so delicious!
