In the margins of the book

Usoa Zumeta was born in San Sebastián on January 17, 1969. She grew up in Usurbil, where she still lives. Her father was the well-known painter José Luis Zumeta, and her mother was Nani Sanz, a retired shopkeeper from San Sebastián. She studied Fine Arts at the UPV. Although she initially turned to audiovisual art and painting, she later decided to focus solely on painting. He took a screen printing course at Arteleku—his only formal training in the medium—which allowed him to experiment until he became an expert and began creating reproductions of his father’s works as well as those of many other great artists.

Una Editorial Grande is a publishing project founded in 2024 by Iván Mayorquín and David Espinosa “El Dee.” The publishing house focuses on comics and graphic novels, aiming to serve as a bridge between national and Latin American authors and the broad audience interested in these stories. Its mission is to showcase a fresh and contemporary vision of comics through works and authors with unique perspectives, always with a fair and mindful approach within the publishing industry.

Llamp Edicions is an independent publishing house based in Barcelona. Our catalog is diverse and showcases artistic practices that span disciplines and spring from intuition or spontaneous gestures.

These books are crafted with care and are the result of experimentation through close collaboration with the artists. We guide the entire process and bring out the best in each project through meticulous editing. In addition, we collaborate with the local community to produce these publications using artisanal methods.
