Angel María Remírez de Ganuza Ayastuy (REGA Tattoo) 1970. Graduate in Fine Arts. With many hours of pigments, binders, essences, and drawing under his belt, this accomplished ballroom dancer is a good conversationalist, a better workshop facilitator, and also a tattoo artist. Over 20 years dedicated to drawing and teaching endorse him as a professional draftsman, well-versed in a thousand battles. And yet, always seeking to continue learning how to trace things on any surface, he ended up tracing ink with needles on skin. Because drawing, truly drawing, from the gut, is a transformative rite of passage. There is no such thing as a small tattoo, and whoever passes and leaves my booth is no longer the same person who came in. The ink wizard, from the cubicle of the small shack-booth, performs rites of passage and transforms people, I hope, into a better version of themselves.
